I have other shots of the Lucky Boy, including one with a guy outside on a pay phone, leaning there, deep in conversation under the sign, trying to figure something out, hook something up, or smooth something over. That’s what we used to do back then. Odd, but standing at a stationary phone seems more private now than bellowing over a cell phone on the same patch of sidewalk. Maybe it had something to do with hunching forward. Where is that shot, now? I need to go looking for it.
